Do you need a Realtor to buy in The Meadows?
No, you can buy a new home in The Meadows directly from Richmond American. But the sales team works for the builder. On new construction the builder pays the buyer’s agent, so your own agent costs you nothing, and with EZ Agents you get 50% of that commission back.
The catch is timing. Once you walk into the Chateau at the Meadows sales office alone, the builder may treat you as unrepresented, and you can lose the ability to have an agent paid. That means no rebate. Call before you tour.
About The Meadows
The Meadows is a large, established master-planned community in Castle Rock, west of I-25 and northwest of downtown Castle Rock, with interstate access at the Meadows Parkway and Founders Parkway interchange. Castle Rock Development Company is the master developer. Most of The Meadows is already built, and this page covers the new homes selling there now.
The community describes nearly one quarter of its land as parks and open space, connected by a trail system for walking, running and biking. Amenities include neighborhood pools and parks, The Grange, and the Taft House event venue. Philip S. Miller Park and The Outlets at Castle Rock are close by. Homes are in Douglas County School District.
The new construction is Chateau at the Meadows by Richmond American, which the developer calls the final neighborhood in The Meadows. It is on the western edge of the community, with the sales address at 1167 Oleander Street. Richmond American offers five floor plans, the Hanford, Monroe II, Holbrook, Harmon and Hillary, in ranch and two-story designs with 4 to 6 bedrooms, 3-car garages, finished basements and covered patios. Listed sizes run from about 4,900 to 6,910 square feet.
